JEANNE JUSTISS MA, LPC
ABOUT JEANNE JUSTISS
I live in San Antonio with my husband of 41 years and two of my three grown sons, and I'm an active member of Bandera Road City Church.
My approach to counseling is based on an integration primarily of cognitive therapy, psychodynamic, systems, and communication theories along with theological and Scriptural principles. I know that through counseling methods I can be a help, however, it is clear to me that God is the healer. Thus, I have received advanced training in Formational Prayer from Ashland Theological Seminary.
I know from years of personal experience that prayer is a major benefit in dealing with life's stresses and problems. It is through the work of God the Father, Jesus the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit that real transformation happens (Romans 12: 1 & 2). Prayer will be included in counseling sessions with those clients who wish to do so.
